I am writing this letter in support Mark Swensen and Joy Renner for the position of trustee with the Mineola School Board of Education.
Both Mark and Joy are longtime members of our community. I believe their experience will be useful to the board in this coming term.
I have known Mark most of my life and have worked with him on many occasions and many projects. I have always found him to be a caring, level headed and hardworking individual. I know that if elected Mark will work to further the goals of our board of education. He will be consistent and fair when dealing with any issues that affect our district.
His knowledge of technology and systems will allow the board to have a subject matter expert on board to better evaluate new initiatives as they are presented. Further, I am sure his extensive experience as a project manager will certainly assist him in managing the complex projects that the board must manage.
On Tuesday, May 19, I would ask you to join with my family and me to elect Mark Swensen and Joy Renner as the next two Board trustees.
