Dear Editor,
The recent campaign by the Port Washington Union Free School District for the $70-$100++ million dollar bond and the related deceptive representations and misrepresentations by the proponents, as well as the upsurge of opposition by the public (an unprecedented 47.5%) indicate the urgent need to change both the composition and hence the competence of the controlling Board of Education.
Among the candidates, Mr. Jim Ansel stands out as one individual who has the experience, expertise, competence and dedication to bring the necessary upgrade and improvements to the Board’s performance.
Hence, I urge a vote for Mr. Jim Ansel in the “BOE Election/Budget Vote” to be held on May 19, 2015.
