Emily Kate Abrams, the daughter of Patricia and Laurence Abrams, will attend Macauley Honors College at CUNY on a full scholarship.
She graduated from Mineola High School on June 27 with an advanced Regents diploma with distinction. Ranked ninth out of a class of 176, Abrams was a member of the National Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and the Science Honor Society.
Abrams received numerous awards including the MHS Service Award, Physical Education Student of the Year, Senior Orchestra Award and the Nassau County Comptrollers Achievement Award.
