Three Westbury men were arrested for grand larceny recently.
According to detectives, Joshua Nembhard, 17 of Westbury, Robin Diaz, 24 of New Cassel and Rodney King, 22 of New Cassel contacted the female victim, 21 on social media with an employment opportunity. The victim accepting what she thought was a new job gave the men banking information for future direct deposit payments. The subjects
removed an undisclosed amount of US currency from the victim’s bank account and continued to threaten the victim on numerous occasions for additional US currency. After an investigation detectives were able to apprehend Nembhard and Diaz on Monday, Aug. 24 and King on Saturday, Aug. 29.
Nembhard and King were charged with second-degree grand larceny and third-degree grand larceny. Diaz was charged with fourth-degree criminal facilitation.
