Community Steak Dinner And Auction
The community is invited to attend an informal, neighborly dinner at Christ Episcopal Church at 5 p.m. Adults are only $20 per person and children under 12 only $10. Enjoy a full meal and an auction as well. All proceeds of the event go towards the refurbishing of the church steeple. This beautiful church is on the corner of Jefferson Street and Chester Avenue (three blocks west of New Hyde Park Road) in Garden City, just a few blocks south of New Hyde Park. Marvelous Movie Matinée
A screening of the 1966 spy parody Out Man Flint starring James Coburn and Lee J. Cobb will be held from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the Garden City Public Library. The event will be held in meeting room B. Writing The Essay For College Applications
