Thank you to the Manhasset Soccer Club and members of the community for all your donations to Samba360. With your help, we collected cleats, balls, shin guards, socks, shorts and shirts over a two-week period. Samba 360s mission is to provide disadvantaged children with opportunities by providing them with donated sports equipment. The organization, founded by Shawn Brown, collects new and used sports equipment that is distributed nationally and abroad. This was a great way for me to get involved with an organization that’s as passionate about soccer and giving back like I am. I look forward to partnering with the Manhasset Soccer Club again at the end of the fall season to collect gently used soccer gear for Samba360.
