The Plainedge School District is pleased to once again, offer a Parent University for all interested community members in the district.
Coordinated in collaboration with the district’s administrators and the Plainedge Teacher Center, the Parent University will be held on Oct. 21 and will feature more than 30 workshops taught by teachers, counselors, community representatives, health coaches and law enforcement officials.
Workshop topics include the new SAT, study skills, Go Math, the Teachers College Writing Workshop, food addiction and Internet safety, to name a few. Refreshments will be served and any interested community member can register through the districts website at www.plainedgeschools.org.
