The core volunteer leaders of the Long Island Chinese American Association (LICAA) got together for a dinner party on Friday, Oct. 9, to celebrate the success of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival event that drew 700 people to Old Westbury Gardens on Sept. 26.

One of the most important traditional Chinese national holidays of the Chinese Lunar Year, there was sharing of moon cakes, fruits and tea, as well as a large family dinner at the Mid-Autumn Festival.
