Kim Howlett-Ellis of Massapequa, and her team “Aunt Bea’s Gang,” participated in the 15th annual Lustgarten Foundation Pancreatic C
ancer Research Walk at Jones Beach on Oct. 11. The walk, which was attended by more than 8,000 people and raised more than $1 million this year and 100 percent of the money raised will go to cancer research thanks to Cablevision’s support.
Howlett-Ellis has participated in the walk for the past 10 years in memory of her grandmother, Beatrice.
