On Saturday, Oct.. 17, longtime Roslyn businessman Gary Stone appeared on the Live It Up television show with Donna Drake.
The showed at a very early morning time, 6:30 a.m. to be exact, but Stone, proprietor of Roslyn Eye Centre, said that he has received solid feedback from the public, including longtime customers.
“The show was a hit,” Stone said. “I’ve received so many nice texts and comments on FaceBook.”
Stone added that those customers who missed the show can go to his FaceBook page to view it from the Roslyn Eye Centre tab.
The Live It Up television show appears on channel 10 WLNY. Some of Drake’s past guests have been Nelson DeMille, Howie Mandel, Jay Leno and Mike Tyson. Stone was happy to be in such company. On the show, he told his unique story on how he took a business that was originally built in 1959 and expanded the store, beginning in 1984. He continues to service generations of families with the most current eyewear and lens technology.
