All special needs children ages 4 to 12 years old are invited to join in the All Sport party events sponsored by Manhasset SEPTA this November. There are two events, both held at an indoor sports facility. Adaptive sports experts from Be the Best Sport run the two sports parties.
The first party is held on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. for children ages 4 to 7 years old. The second event takes place Saturday, Nov. 14, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. for children ages 8 to 11 years old. Each event has one hour of sport activities and games followed by half an hour of pizza, cake and fun giveaways in the party room.
Some of the activities for the younger group include relay races, soccer and an obstacle course. Older children will have mini games of soccer, kickball and football.
The All Sports parties are free to attend and all special needs children from the North Shore are welcome to join the fun. Space is limited to 15 participants to keep a high instructor to participant ratio, so online registration is required.
