On Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 7:30 p.m., Temple Sinai of Roslyn will host a roundtable discussion, “Walk In Each Other’s Shoes.”
Pastor Victor Lewis and members of the Friendship Baptist Church will join Rabbi Michael White and Rabbi Andrew Gordon for an interfaith round table discussion on race and religion. The diversity in the backgrounds of these three esteemed members of the clergy, portends a lively, informative and spiritually significant discussion.
Opening remarks and an overview of the topic will be presented by Rabbi White, Rabbi Gordon, and Pastor Lewis. Then everyone will have the opportunity to sit in small groups and have a round table free flowing discussion about personal experiences surrounding racism, anti-Semitism, and other challenges of the modern world.
All are welcome to come to Temple Sinai for this opportunity for interfaith dialogue and understanding.
