On Feb. 10, at the Incorporated Village of Munsey Park Board meeting, residents, employees and government officials came to celebrate a longtime, devoted employee who retired on Dec. 19, 2015. James C. McInnis had been with the Village of Munsey Park for 27 years.
In a statement from Munsey Park Mayor Sean Haggerty,” With mixed emotions, the village congratulates Jim on his retirement, serving village residents with a level of dedication and professionalism we all have come to admire. Some years back, after suffering a heart attack on the job, Jim was on the phone the next day from the hospital making sure we had enough salt for the next storm. Jim loves Munsey Park.” At the meeting, the mayor, board of trustees and Town of North Hempstead awarded proclamations to McInnis in recognition of his years of service and dedication.
