The Mineola Motors Robotics team from Mineola Middle School recently won the Innovative Solutions award at the Long Island Lego Robotics Championship held at Longwood High School. The Mineola Motors competed against 40 teams who qualified as the best-of-the-best in Nassau and Suffolk counties. As part of the project, Mineola Middle School collected over 9,000 pounds of e-waste and disposed of it without harming the environment.
