The Port Washington Children’s Center will hold its Annual Scholarship Gala Celebration on Thursday, May 5, at the Manhasset Bay Yacht Club. This year’s theme is “A World Class Community…It might be a small town but it’s a child’s whole world.” Honorees are members of the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce, Port Washington Police District and Port Washington Teacher’s Association, all exemplary organizations that support our wonderful community. The event is being underwritten by the generosity of the Peter & Jeri Dejana Foundation.
The reception will feature an open bar, full dinner and dancing. Proceeds from this event support the many programs of the Port Washington Children’s Center, including the Port Day Camp, and provides scholarships to families in need, helping to provide safe, affordable childcare for Port’s working families. Tickets are $150, and many different levels of sponsorship opportunities are available. For tickets to the gala, or to place a personalized ad on the Scroll of Honor, contact Veronica Casamassima at the PWCC at 516-883-4864.
