Henry Kissinger, the former Secretary of State who forged crucial detente with the Soviet Union and Red China, was honored with the Defense Department’s highest civilian award for “his years of distinguished public service.”
Columnist Michael Miller wrote his viewpoint of the event for Anton Media Group. It proved to be nothing but a calculated and thorough bashing of Kissinger. Mr. Miller refers to this honorable dignitary as “an A-List Manhattan celebrity” who has a “very close personal relationship with the Clintons. The Clinton and Kissinger families have for years vacationed together at a luxurious Dominican beachfront villa.”
It all sounds like something out of People Magazine. It is quite inappropriate as a political statement. Worst of all, it may have lowered the esteem that readers like myself hold for your editorial content.
