For the fourth consecutive year, the humanitarian efforts of the Plainedge High School Science Honor Society resulted in a generous donation of $1,000 to Wellspring for the World.
Founded by Plainedge alumnae Kim Costanza, the mission of Wellspring for the World is to ensure that communities around the world have access to clean water, which provides a foundation for good health, sanitation, food security and education. The club raised money by recycling water bottles and holding bake sales.
