A longtime supporter of the maternity unit and resident of Levittown, 
Barbara Schneider brings over two hundred baby hats that she knitted for the newborn at the Nassau University Medical Center. Ms. Schneider has previously donated a huge supply of baby hats to ensure that every newborn goes home with a newly knitted hat. Joining Ms. Schneider in accepting her generous donations are baby nursery nurse Linda Hoda, RN and nurse manager for the maternity unit, Patricia Leggio, RN.
