Members of Sewanhaka High School’s Green Club and adviser Yvonne Sherwood spent a couple of days caked in dirt, weeds and mulch. The greenies weeded the school’s flowerbeds, turned over soil and planted three perennials on school grounds. They also trimmed a tree, built a mini rock wall and applied 35 bags of mulch. Other Green Club members weeded the large flowerbed around the school’s flagpole and cut four hedges. Pictured above, Sukanya Raj and Ana Ochoa helped clean up around the school’s flagpole.
