The Bryant Library’s summer reading program is entering its final week. The programs are underway and continue through Saturday, Aug. 6. An exception is the Legomania program for grade school students, which will be held on Friday, Aug. 12, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The summer programs are only the beginning of exciting projects for young readers.
In-person registration for early fall story programs is now underway:
Giggles and Wiggles: 12 to 18 months
• Mondays: Sept. 12, 19, 26 and Oct. 3
• Tuesdays: Sept. 13, 20, 27 and Oct. 4
The program features music, fingerplays, toys and simple stories will help develop early literacy skills. Parent or guardian must accompany the child. Child must be 12 months by Sept. 15.
Little Sprouts: 18 to 24 months
• Mondays: Sept. 12, 19, 26 and Oct. 3
• Tuesdays: Sept. 13, 20, 27 and Oct. 4
Toys, books, and fun await little ones. Parent or guardian must accompany the child. Child must be 18 months by Sept. 15.
Toddler Storytime: 2 to 3 ½ years
• Fridays: Sept. 16, 23, 30 and Oct. 7, Oct. 14, 21, 28 and Nov. 4
The goal is to provide a pleasant introductory library experience to storytime.
