Hicksville Fire Department volunteer firefighters joined thousands of their colleagues from the county’s firematic services as the Bethpage Fire Department hosted the 2016 Nassau County Firefighters’ Parade and Carnival last month.
Participants lined up on Cherry Avenue at Bethpage High School and proceeded east to Broadway and traveled south to Baldwin Road, ending in the LIRR parking lot south of the train tracks. A carnival and block party was held at the parking lot, featuring music and activities all three nights.
