A group of St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope students participated in a week-long STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) Camp in early August. Each day students worked on a different activity—Rubber Band Race Cars, Coding, Origami TumbleWings and Gliders, and Geocaching. On the last day of camp, families were invited to school to see what the children worked on during the week. The students used tools ranging from mitre boxes and saws, to smart phones and GPS; however, the most valuable tools were their creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
