Registration Open For PAL Fall Sports

PAL_082416BRegistration for all Port Washington Police Athletic League (PAL) Fall Sports has begun. This fall, PAL will offer professionally run programs in fast-pitch softball, travel baseball, T-ball, soccer, tennis, hockey and outdoor basketball. Every program is open to all, regardless of ability, location, finances or any other program participants may be part of. The PAL simply wants kids to play as much as possible.

All programs are run by the most respected professionals in the area. Independent professional instructors run our programs so that every child gets treated the same. Within the structure of professional coaching, PAL welcomes parental volunteers to assist under the coach’s guidance. All parents, like all hired coaches, are screened by the Port Washington Police Department, insuring maximum protection for every child in the program.

PW PAL, established 1948, is a charitable organization run entirely by volunteers whose guiding interest is the athletic well-being and development of its members. “At PW PAL we would much rather pay a high-level professional coach than an administrator,” said Rob Elkin. “This approach allows us to field our competitive programs while keeping prices at the level of a nonprofit.”

Full information, registration and payment options are all online at www.pwpal.org. Questions about or reservations in any of the programs can be sent to pwpalinfo@gmail.com. Phone inquiries can be made directly to the PW PAL director at 516-965-9883. Scholarships are available in all programs.
