William Finn (center), composer of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, paid a surprise visit to South High for the school’s Saturday, Nov. 19, performance, and offered high words of praise for the cast, crew and orchestra.
Of the visit, Thomas Marr, South High drama teacher, said, “It was a pleasant surprise and his kind words were a testament not only to the hard work of the cast, crew, orchestra and production staff, but also to the importance of arts education in our society.”
