Huntington Station Man Killed in Crash

A 58-year-old man was killed when he crashed his pickup truck in his hometown of Huntington Station on Tuesday evening.

Suffolk County police said Gary Capek was driving a Ford F-250 northbound on New York Avenue when he apparently suffered a medical emergency. His vehicle left the roadway and struck two parked cars at 5:40 p.m.

The victim was taken to Huntington, where he was pronounced dead. Two people in one of the parked vehicles were not injured

Second Squad detectives inspected the Ford and are continuing the investigation.
