Acting Probation Director John Plackis and Assistant Deputy Director Andrew Eichhorn were joined by Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano recently to swear in nine new probation officers at a ceremony held at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building in Mineola.
“I commend each of the graduates for earning the opportunity to be part of the Nassau County probation department, and for their willingness to dedicate their careers to keeping our residents and communities safe with offender rehabilitation and supervision,” said Mangano.
Each trainee was presented with an officer’s shield and a citation for their work and commitment.
