Fundraising For Food

The Hicksville Middle School Student Council, with Principal Mara Jorisch (left) and advisers Jennifer Presti and Janice Fitzgerald, presented a representative of Long Island food bank Island Harvest with a check for $500. The students and teachers fundraised by sponsoring a school dance and coordinating a Souper Bowl initiative.
