My husband and I selected Great Neck as a place to live and raise our family in large part because of its well-known excellent school system. The quality of life in our town and our property values are supported by the strength of our schools. Rebecca Sassouni has been a sensible unifying voice in our community. She has worked hard for our residents while showing good judgment and sensitivity towards our diverse populations. As the only one of the two candidates clearly articulating an understanding of the need to invest in our schools, she is the obvious and imperative choice for my vote for the Great Neck school board.
