South Middle School will present its annual Theatre Workshop on Friday, June 9, at 7 p.m. The 15 short “sketch” shows, which are each approximately 5 to 10 minutes long, are student-directed with such titles as Decision Time and The Juliet Tryouts. There are comedies and dramas, covering various aspects of life and growing up. Student writers/directors include Sarah Bernstein, Nathan Cohen, Eli Goodwin, Eden Katz, Erik Lyngstad-Hughes, Ezra Malater, Juliet Rofe and Elie Weitzman.
Theatre Workshop is suitable for all ages, admission is free and all are welcome. Gabriel Carras, English department chair/drama teacher, is the faculty advisor.
