Town Hosts Shoreline Cleanup

The Town of North Hempstead held a community cleanup of the Hempstead Harbor Trail and shoreline on April 21. Students from Chaminade High School, as well as the Port Washington Girl Scout Cadets Troop 477, participated in honor of Earth Day. More than 60 volunteers joined together to help collect more than 100 bags of garbage including boxes, cups and more.
