Manhasset Middle School baseball team started the season off right with their first game winning 7-0 on May 5. The Indians played against Herricks Middle School in a home-opener. Eighth-grader Jake Moss was on the mound for Manhasset and pitched a perfect game. Moss pitched all seven innings, making sure that Herricks had no walks or hits. He had 16 strikeouts and did it all in only 80 pitches.
It looks like the Indians are on their way to a great start.
