While we were bombarded with erratic showers all day Sunday, May 27, 2018, the weather paled in comparison to the ultimate sacrifices made by those who took a bomb or a bullet so that we could live in freedom in this great United States.

As is customary and in keeping with our mission, the American Legion Auxiliary of Nassau County came to Eisenhower Park for the UVO Memorial Service as well as the Long Island National Cemetery Memorial Service in the afternoon.
