Fiona wants to have a permanent slumber party with you! Fiona is a lab mix who was originally rescued from Puerto Rico. She loves getting affection and being a lap dog, she also really enjoys the company of other dogs and would be a great addition to a home seeking a second dog.
Meet Fran Swan. This beautiful young lady came to Little Shelter in 2011. She is a sweet and playful girl who loves affection and playing with a kitty dancer. She is very personable and likes to follow her favorite staff members around. She would do well as an only cat or a multi cat household where she could have some playmates.

Available for adoption at the Town of Huntington Cat Shelter operated by Little Shelter:
Maxwell is the handsome 9-year-old cat who is quite the ambassador around the Town of Huntington Cat Shelter. Maxwell loves to greet all visitors who come into the shelter. He will get onto a shelf to be eye level with you so he can give you a proper “hello.”
He’s super affectionate and genuinely just wants to be near people. His favorite thing is to be held and carried around like a little kid, which is rather adorable! During the day when he’s not greeting visitors, Max follows staff around to make sure everything is running smoothly.
His first priority (besides hugs) is making sure the food and treats are tasty enough to be given out. He has to sample each type of treat before it’s passed out to everyone. It’s a tough job, but Maxwell is always up for the challenge.
Maxwell truly needs to be in a home where he can get spoiled with treats, toys and love. He needs a human buddy to snuggle up with and who would be happy to carry him around the house. If this adventurous boy sounds like the right kitty for you, contact the Town of Huntington Cat Shelter at 104 Deposit Rd., East Northport, 631-651-9788.
