CHILI
Chili

Available for adoption at North Shore Animal League America:

Chili is a 5-year-old Chihuahua mix who loves nothing more than her daily walks on leash.  She takes some time to warm up with new people and can be a bit fearful, so she needs to go to a home with older children only. She has a slight heart murmur, but it doesn’t slow her down.

Anyone interested in adopting Chili would be eligible for three private training sessions with NSALA’s pet behavior staff. It would be best if everyone in the family can meet her before adoption, including the family dog, to make sure it is the right match. If you’d like to meet Chili, please email RosemarieT@animalleague.org

hotei
Hotei

Hotei is a large, very friendly, 5-year-old Hound/Sharpei mix with a unique look. He can be calm, but also enjoys goofing around and playing. Bring your entire family to meet him, including any resident dog to see how everyone interacts. Hotei would do best in a home where the children are over 10 years old. Any potential new home for Hotei needs to be cat-free as well. For more info, reach out to RosemarieT@animalleague.org

This bonded pair even gets along well with other cats and would make a wonderful addition to any family. If you can open your heart and home to this dynamic duo, please contact Almost Home Animal Rescue at almosthomeli.org or call 631-627-3665 today!

Henry 1
Henry

Available for adoption at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter:

“Loves to play fetch”, “loooves swimming”, “loving and affectionate”… these are just some of the things Henry’s buddies say about him. Poor Henry has been at the shelter since November 2016 when he came in as a stray. Henry is now one of their top 10 longest residents, a title he should never have.

Henry seems to really like other dogs and is super sweet and loving with people once he learns to trust them. He is one of those dogs who will nudge your hand for more affection which is super cute. Henry is looking for a home with kids 17 and up due to some handling sensitivities. Henry truly deserves a loving home, so if you are interested in adopting Henry, please call the shelter at 516-785-5220, visit 3320 Beltagh Avenue, Wantagh or email adoption@tohmail.org today!
