A new medical cannabis dispensary opened Wednesday in Huntington.
It’s the first on Long Island for Remedy, which has four other locations in New York State. The facility, which is located at 277 Walt Whitman Rd., is the first dispensary in Huntington and the fifth on Long Island.
“Many people in our communities suffer needlessly from pain or can’t sleep or
have appetite issues from any one of the conditions,” said Cresco Labs President and Co-
founder Joe Caltabiano. “This is a day for them to celebrate that there’s a
new form of relief in Long Island.”
The opening comes after Cresco Labs, one of the nation’s largest vertically integrated multistate cannabis operators, acquired Valley Agriceuticals, which manages Remedy
dispensaries.
LI also has dispensaries in Riverhead, Lake Success, East Farmingdale, and Carle Place.
Remedy Long Island will offer a selection of capsules, topical creams vape pens/cartridges, and oral tinctures. Patients can purchase up to a 30-day supply after being certified for any one of the New York State approved medical conditions including ALS, Chronic Pain, PTSD, Epilepsy, Parkinson’s Disease, and more.
Remedy Long Island is open seven days a week, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information, visit remedy-ny.com or call the dispensary’s phone number at 631-238-3670.
