East Northport held its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony on Dec. at East Northport Railroad Plaza Clocktower Park.
Sponsored by the East Northport Chamber Of Commerces and the East Northport Fire Department, this annual event regularly attracts hundreds of residence from East Northport community who come together to kick off the festival holiday season while sipping hot chocolate and devouring holiday cookies provided by Copenhagen Bakery and enjoying The sounds of the Pulaski Road elementary school choir.
The community, chamber and fire department were joined by Town of Huntington elected officials Jillian Guthman, Esq., receiver of taxes, Huntington Town Supervisor Chad Lupinacci, Councilman Eugen Cook, and Councilwoman Joan Cergol. The highlight of the evening came when Santa arrived via fire truck to the absolute delight of all the children, young and old.
