Guidice was elected as business manager of the Holtsville-based I n t e r n a t i o n a l Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1049, making him the chief negotiator for the union as well as manager of its activities, funds, and staff.
Sylvia Cabana
Cabana has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of Family and Children’s Association, a Mineola-based not-for-profit organization that helps vulnerable children, seniors, families, and communities. She is an immigration law attorney in West Hempstead.
Jorge Martinez
Martinez was named the new chair of the board of Bethpage Federal Credit Union. He is also the deputy mayor of the Village of Freeport and owner of J&A Group, a commercial maintenance company.
Gioia Bales
Bales was hired to serve as the new Dean of the School of Business at Molloy College in Rockville Centre. She was previously the senior associate dean of the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University.
Jeremy Mutschler
Mutschler, the newly appointed director of marketing for Lindenhurst-based Nicolock Paving Stones, one of the region’s leading hardscape manufacturers. He will oversee all marketing, including advertising, promotions, events, and public relations.
Christina Cardella
Cardella is the new coordinator of mathematics and STEAM at Garden City Public Schools. She comes to Garden City from Massachusetts, where she served as a STEM coordinator in the Chelsea Public Schools.
Christopher Pellettieri
The Sachem Central School District Board of Education appointed the district’s next superintendent of schools. Pellettieri served as the assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction in the Rockville Centre Union Free School District for 12 years.
Laura Schaefer
Nassau County Legislator Laura Schaefer (R-Westbury) has joined McBride Consulting and Business Development Group in Mineola, where she will be a consultant.
