When planning for the future of elder family members, necessary information provides confidence and a sound mind which is crucial to make tough, time-sensitive decisions.

To help make informed decisions, three experts will discuss how to handle such challenges in a webinar titled “Building a Roadmap for Senior Care Decision Making” hosted by Schneps Media, the parent company of the Long Island Press.

Julie Wexler, MPA, director of business development at The Bristal Assisted Living, will speak to viewers to ease the stress about the living situation of elder family members. She will explain everything necessary to make the big-time decisions easy with the information provided here.

Gina Aiello, LMSW, president and geriatric consultant with Caring From The Heart, will go through possible variables to think about when caring for senior loved ones. Personal resources such as in-home care, or transportation options as well as concerns like insurance or Medicare and medical resources will be covered.

And Marcy Einhorn, Esq. of Conflict Resolution for Elders will share tips on how to communicate and resolve conflict within families if it comes down to it. The occasional disagreement or confusion can cause tension between seniors and their families. There is no room for superficial stress when dealing with important matters such as senior care decisions.
