The North Shore Art Guild held an opening reception for its newest art show, “Rebound,” on April 21. The show features 29 works of art by 18 artists; the art includes paintings in oils, acrylic, and watercolor, as well as photographs, drawings, and paper origami.
The North Shore Art Guild is a nonprofit group made up of local artists. Their art space, Expressions Gallery, in the lobby of the Holiday Inn Express at 3131 Nesconset Hwy. in Stony Brook, showcases the work of the guild with free shows all year. North Shore Art Guild donates 30 percent of all sales to the Stony Brook Children’s Hospital. Artists of all levels are welcome to join.
The “Rebounds” reception was held from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. with refreshments, raffles, and meets and greets with the artists. The exhibit is on display now through June 13. Masks required.
