Town of North Hempstead Council Member Veronica Lurvey and Town Clerk Wayne Wink joined the Manhasset Police Activity League (PAL) and officials from North Shore University Hospital on June 9 at Manhasset Valley Park to unveil a new scoreboard which was made possible by a donation from the hospital.
The town worked closely with the Manhasset PAL to help secure the donation. The new 18-foot baseball scoreboard sits on the field and will serve the community and the hundreds of kids who utilize the fields at Manhasset Valley Park.
