Dina Lohan, mother of actress Lindsay Lohan, was sentenced Friday to 18 days in Nassau County jail for driving while intoxicated last year near her Merrick home.
Nassau Judge Caryn Fink also sentenced Dina Lohan to five years probation, revoked her drivers license for a year and a half, and ordered her to use an ignition interlock device on her vehicle when she gets her license back.
Lohan had pleaded guilty in September to driving while intoxicated as a felony and leaving the scene of an accident as a traffic infraction. A charge of driving without a license was dropped in exchange for her plea.
Police had arrested her following an incident near the Outback Steakhouse at the corner of Merrick Avenue and Grand Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. Jan. 11. She was reportedly arrested after she struck a car, fled the scene, and the second driver followed her.
