The opening day for this year’s Garden City South Little League season was on April 9.
The season was kicked off with a Little League parade that celebrated the season ahead. Children, dressed in their uniforms, were applauded by their community.
The Garden City South Little League was established in 1954, offering indoor clinics, professional pitching instruction, a maintained field, events such as movie nights, a fully stocked food shack and a board officer on duty for all games with an AED ready to go.
