Crumbl Cookies’ First Long Island Location to Open in Levittown Friday, Feb. 10
The cookie craze is coming to Levittown: Crumbl Cookies opens its first Long Island storefront in the Nassau Mall shopping center on Hempstead Turnpike on Feb. 10.
Crumbl will offer six of its more than 200 rotating flavors for sale in person at the shop during grand opening weekend. Starting Feb. 15, the location will make delivery, curbside pickup, catering, and delivery available through its phone app and website.
“As local business owners, we are excited to bring the joy of family and service to this community by sharing delicious cookies with our neighbors,” said co-owners Lori Rung and Tara Costa, who grew up in Bethpage and is excited to open a Crumbl store so close to her hometown.
The cookie shop will bring 65 jobs to the area, the company says.
Each week the store will reveal a new set of inventive cookie flavors for sale, which in the past have included Cornbread, Cookies & Cream, S’mores, Key Lime Pie, Peppermint Bark, Caramel Popcorn, Buttermilk Pancake, Galaxy Brownie, and many more.
Crumbl announces the week’s flavors every Sunday on its social media pages @crumblcookies. The company started in 2017 in Utah by Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley and has since grown to a franchise of more than 500 locations in over 40 states.
