Cats and Dogs Ready for Adoption on Long Island

Available for adoption through Tender Loving Cats

Rosie
Rosie

Meet Rosie! This 1-year-old grey and white ball of adorableness goes bonkers for her fishing pole and wand toys. She also keeps herself occupied with toy mice and running through the tunnels. You will also find Rosie window watching on her fosters window perch. Rosie enjoys being petted and will let you know when she wants attention. This sweet but shy girl would do well in a quieter home and she wants to be the only Queen of the Castle. Let’s find her a home without another cat.

To adopt Rosie, complete an adoption application: tenderlovingcats.org/adoption-application.html. After the application is approved, you can meet her in her foster’s home.

Available for adoption through Private Rescuer

Lila
Lila

Life as an outdoor cat has made Lila a little skittish (and rightly so), but thanks to the efforts of rescuers, this 2-year-old girl is ready for the next chapter in her life to begin. Want to become Lila’s bestie…start rubbing her head and you’ve made a friend for life! Lila is spayed and in good health. She will be vaccinated prior to foster/adoption. If you can open your heart and home to this fab feline, please contact Nancy at nanrobison@gmail.com.

Available for adoption from the Town of Smithtown Animal Shelter

Ratatouille
Ratatouille

Ratatouille is a 5-year-old Domestic Shorthair Mix who is a total cuddle bug. Ratatouille loves people and is a big fan of getting her head scratched. She is super sweet, affectionate, and friendly. She has a reactive skin condition called Eosinophilic Granuloma that causes her to have some itchy and discomforting lesions on her lip and her side. Fortunately, these lesions are not contagious to other animals, but they do require steroid treatment from time to time. Ratatouille is ready for her new home; might that home be yours?

If you are interested in meeting Ratatouille, please call 631-360-7575 or complete an online application today. Currently, there are a variety of male and female cats & kittens available to adopt or foster. If you are looking for a fun loving, yarn tossing ball of love, stop by the Kitten Nursery or the Cat Condos at the Smithtown Animal Shelter and find a PURR-fect soulmate or two!
