Dawn’s Story — A Procedure That Saved Her Life

Dawn-Keiley-with-Son

Dawn Keiley, an RN, and mother of five from Lynbrook, suffered from headaches and migraines.

Late last year, Mount Sinai doctors in New York City diagnosed and then removed a potentially life-threatening aneurysm from her brain. Without the procedure, Dawn may have died. Now, Dawn’s hospital, Mount Sinai South Nassau, is embarking on a $10 million effort to bring lifesaving care for stroke patients to the South Shore of Nassau County so Long Islanders like Dawn – with aneurysms or strokes – can receive advanced, clot retrieval services right in Oceanside. Please support Mount Sinai South Nassau’s Comprehensive Stroke Program by making a $50 donation and help save lives on the South Shore.
