AHRC Suffolk held its 63rd Annual Candlelight Ball on November 30 at Larkfield Manor in East Northport.  The event raised approximately $200,000.

This year, AHRC Suffolk celebrated two distinguished honorees: Barbara Pflieger Morin as Legacy Honoree and Phil Boyle as Honoree. Mrs. Morin has been involved with the agency for over 50 years and has instilled her passion for our mission to her family; a legacy that continues with her daughter Debbie Pflieger, AHRC’s Board President.

Former New York State Senator Phil Boyle now serves as President & CEO of Suffolk Regional Offtrack Betting and was honored for his dedication and support to people with developmental disabilities in the community.

Proceeds of this event will benefit the creation of a fully accessible playground at their Saul & Elaine Seiff Educare Center, providing students additional educational, therapy and play.
