He’s looking for a loving home where he can reacquaint himself with a life of happiness with older children and another cat friend to bond with.

Adoption Goodman

After losing his owner and being abandoned in his apartment building, five-year-old John Goodman has needed a lot of love from us to make him feel safe. It’s time to erase all his memories of the hardships he faced and give him a home with experienced cat-owners and older children. Offer him those comforts and watch him shine brightly as the star of your family.

Adoption Glow

*Double Adoption* Seven-month-old, bonded pair Glow and Integrity came all the way from Louisiana in hopes of finding their first loving family and spending the rest of their lives together furever. Having each other by their sides will help quell worries they have about the changes in life.

Adoption Elvira

Enchanting five-month-old Elvira is inviting you to be her family! This exquisite tot from West Virginia has high hopes she’ll be home with you this evening. Elvira will jump into the arms of any human that comes to visit her!

Adoption Ember

*Double Adoption* Why settle for one grey vixen when you can have 2? Six-month-olds Ember and Myst are better together, and together they’ll spend furever as a bonded pair. You may find them grooming each other in a cuddle puddle, but feel free to interrupt them with a hello treat, they’re always willing to include you in all of their kitten antics.

Adoption May

When four-year-old May needed a safe place to land, Animal League America was there. She’ll come right up and purr for you to pet her as soon as her room door opens. What a delightful gal! May could use a healthier lifestyle to help her lose some of her excess weight, but you wouldn’t want to change anything about her outstanding purrsonality!

Adoption Beanie

*Double Adoption* When three-year-olds Beanie and Boomer lost their home, Animal League America was there to pick up the pieces of their life and promise them a new one. Beanie is encouraging his shyer brother to trust their new friends. A home with older children and plenty of treats are the easiest ways to this bonded pair’s hearts.

Available for adoption at Lend-a-Paw Inc.

Adoption Clippers

Clippers is just an adorable snuggle muffin that has faced quite a challenging year. He was discovered in a hoarders residence. He felt immense joy when someone who had learned about the situation welcomed him into their home. Without any available records, his new owner was unaware of his diabetes condition. Lend-a-Paw was happy to step in to help Clippers. A vet visit identified a severe ear infection which is now being treated. His diabetes is now effectively managed with a single crushed pill mixed into his food, a routine he handles like a true champion! Please consider adopting or fostering this handsome fella!

Adoption Apollo

Apollo is a little darling, recently rescued from the brink of euthanasia at the ACC. He’s seeking a foster home that can provide transportation to veterinary appointments for his potential neurological condition. Apollo is presently accustomed to using wee-wee pads and it’s important for Apollo to either be the sole dog in the household or be placed with an experienced foster family that can carefully manage gradual introductions with other pets. At approximately 1.5 to 2 years old, Apollo is overflowing with affection, and he thoroughly enjoys his backyard playtime adventures.

Adoption Annabelle

*Senior Alert* The amazing Annabelle has truly transformed into such a lovebug-jumping on her foster mom’s bed, making biscuits in the morning. This sweet senior who was once neglected has finally learned what love is-and would love nothing more than a forever family to share it with this Christmas! Annabelle is about 16 years old and front declawed.

Adoption Skittles

Meet Sensational Skittles! This ray of sunshine is looking for a forever home where she can continue to explore the house and play all day! It would make Christmas so special to be adopted with her brother Starburst, or at least have another feline friend to play with.

Adoption Starburst

Starburst is a big purr machine that loves to cuddle with his sister. He is playful, silly and energetic but also loves to chill out and relax.

Adoption Tina

Tina was brought to Lend-a-Paw by one of their volunteers about one year ago, and she is still waiting for someone to see how terrific she is. Tina is a quiet girl who is looking for a forever family to give her lots of chin scratches!

Adoption Maizee

Maizee is a two year-old Husky/Jindo Mix who was found as a stray and never claimed. She is a stunning ball of happy energy who enjoys meeting new people and going for runs. Maizee is looking for a family that can keep her active and shower her with love and affection. She needs to work on her leash manners but is otherwise perfectly well behaved. Maizee would do well in a home with dogs who can match her energy. A potential home should be careful when introducing her to cats and small children, as her strength can be a little overwhelming for them. Stunning Maizee is a total delight, so hoping she’ll find her forever home soon!

For more information about adopting Maizee, please fill out an application https://www.townofsmithtownanimalshelter.com/applications or call the shelter at 631-360-7575 for more information.
