Billy Joel To Appear On ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’

Long Island native Billy Joel is set to appear on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Thursday night.

The show will air at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.

Joel, a Hicksville native who is known as “The Piano Man,” in reference to one of his most well-known songs, is coming off of his first single in almost two decades, “Turn The Lights Back On,” which was released Feb. 1 and has garnered positive reviews.

Billy Joel has always been proud of his Long Island roots, going as far as to name his first studio album Cold Spring Harbor. He also owns a bike shop in Oyster Bay. Recently, Joel was honored with an exhibit at the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame.
