Recently, the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Benevolence Fund presented donations to students at New Hyde Park Memorial High School, Sewanhaka High School, Herricks High School and Great Neck South High School.

Recent Great Neck South High School graduate Grace Phillip received a $500 student achievement award from the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Benevolence Fund. Grace will be attending Hunter College in the fall to study Biological Sciences.

From the New Hyde Park Memorial High School, Brandon Noguera and Varun Pillai each received a $500 Chamber scholarship award. Brandon will be attending Baruch College and majoring in Finance. Varun  will be attending Ohio State and majoring in Computer Science and Navy ROTC.

At the Sewanhaka High School Graduation, past president of the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Ralph Ventura presented Sheyala Alarco with a Chamber scholastic achievement award of $500.

At the Herricks High School graduation ceremony, Ventura presented Aralyn Geevarghese with a $500 scholastic achievement award. Aralyn is an Honor Roll student and has achieved many scholastic awards and has volunteered at the Mineola MVAC and camp Integrity at Redwood Sleepaway.
