Harbor Hill students bring book characters to life on pumpkins

Students in Jayson Melgar and Dara Kaplan’s classes at Harbor Hill Elementary School enjoyed painting pumpkins to represent their favorite book characters.

Using their creativity, they brought the characters’ stories to life with bright colors and imaginative designs.

“It was so fun watching both classes collaborate to make this project,” Melgar said.
